Fairies and Field Trips

Madi had a ton of fun this summer going with her preschool to three field trips! She got to go to the Children's Museum, Pump It Up and Kid Ventures. Even better, the kids rode awesome party buses to all of their field trips thanks to a parent of one of Madi's classmates. I died when I chaperoned the Pump It Up trip and the kids spent the ride dancing and singing with laser lights all over the bus!

Eleanor finally gave up her pacifier in July. The paci fairy came to the house, left her glitter feet all over and gave Ella a new stuffy elephant to snuggle. Surprisingly the loss of the pacifier was completely fine for Ella. She quickly got used to going to sleep without the sucking and continued with the rest of her terrible sleep habits as expected, haha! Ella now says that any and all changes in the house are due to fairies coming. I can't decide if this is super useful or a little scary.

To add to the changes for Eleanor, we bought new beds for the girls. They now have their own twin beds with little shelves for stuffies and books. This hasn't necessarily helped the girls sleep better, but they really like having their own beds and space!
