Easter 2016

This year we managed to stick with one Easter celebration. While Madeline asked why she didn't get to attend multiple egg hunts, Matt and I appreciated having a relatively low key holiday. We took the girls to the Butterfly Exhibit at the Safari Park. The girls loved the butterflies, but weren't quite ready to have any land on them this year.

We went to the Johnson house for the annual egg hunt and lunch. The kids had a hard time holding off until it was time to hunt eggs and the little kids actually managed to get way too many eggs before the big kids were released, but all the kiddos got plenty of candy and cash anyways! GrandKarl met up with us for the egg hunt and lunch, the girls were soooo excited to see him.
